Job Description

Big-company reach, small-company attitude! AAI Corporation, an operating unit of Textron Systems, is currently recruiting for a Test Engineer II. Duties will be to serve as the local on-site Test Engineer, conducting and leading flight crews thru both acceptance test and development testing of Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) equipment. Such testing will include development of test plans, actual test execution, data analysis, and writing test reports. Successful applicant may be trained as a Mission Payload Operator (MPO). Primary duties will require extensive travel both domestically and internationally in support of contingency operations.

Required Skills

Experience with analysis tools such as LabView, Matlab, etc desired but not required. Successful candidates will possess strong public speaking skills and superior problem solving abilities. FAA licenses or certificates such as A&P, A&P, IA, private pilot, commercial pilot, instrument rating, CFI, CFII are also highly desirable. Candidates must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and have strong leadership skills.

Required Experience

Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline is required. Aviation background is highly desired. Must be willing to travel and relocate as required. Candidate should be able to obtain and hold a FAA Class III Medical. Extended work hours are likely. Home duty site will be Dugway, UT. 

Note: All candidates must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET government security clearance.
