PRIMARY FUNCTION(S)Develop, conduct and report on Test & Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs) for acquisition categories (ACAT) II & III programs RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Develop Test & Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs) for acquisition categories (ACAT) II & III programs Perform functional testing of various IO systems, tools, and networks Design developmental and operational network test plans and procedures Conduct network testing Troubleshoot and resolve test deficiencies and hardware problems Monitor performance of telecommunications and computer network acquisition products Plan, conduct, validate, and report the results of developmental and operational tests Perform interoperability and integration testing Provide support to government milestone decision-making Provide technical advisory and assistance support to government sponsors Prepare Final ReportsMINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONSDegree Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, or electrical engineering from an accredited institution.Relevant Experience (amount and type): - Five years experience installing, testing, evaluating and managing computer network and telecommunications systems-Experience conducting Computer Network Operations-Five years experience evaluating technologies for Information Assurance and computer network defense highly desired-Experience leading teams testing and evaluating the performance of IT systems-Must have effective writing skillsDISCLAIMER:The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
