Oversee all activities of the Transportation Group including planning and final design for state and municipal clients. Manage a large staff of employees - directly supervise 4 supervisors and managers. Indirectly manage between 30-50 employees. This position reports to Northwest District Leader. Coordinate all activities of the group. Operate group productivity within budgetary limits. Lead group marketing program. Perform client audits. Produce quality products. Participate actively in senior management team for Northwest District. Usually involves work in several areas or functions that are often beyond the scope of standard procedures. May determine when and to what extent standard procedures should be applied Responsible for the hiring, supervision, development, evaluation, and termination of staff members, as well as establishing and approving budgets for the group.
Qualifications
PE license and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 15 years of experience in an A/E firm or public agency or both. Knowledge of the Puget Sound region a plus.
