Job Description
Viajes El Corte Ingles, a leading travel agency in Spain with over 4,000 employees worldwide, is looking for a travel agent to work in its receptive office in New York City.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
-Booking hotels, restaurants, ground transportation, etc. for individual travelers (clientele based primarily in Spain).
-Occasionally attending walk in clients.
- General administration duties associated with such tasks
Job Requirements
Ideal candidates must have at least 2 years experience as a travel agent.
Ideal candidates must be able to book through any general reservations system (both corporate and leisure travel).
Ideal candidates must be fluent in both spoken and written English and Spanish.
Ideal candidates will be organized and focused individuals capable of handling a high volume of incoming calls and emails as well as “on call" duties.
Ideal candidates must have a good presence and friendly attitude with clients as well as the ability to work both individually and as a member of a team.
Ideally, candidates will be highly motivated and quick learning.
