Truck PM Plus, LLC a division of Bridgestone/Bandag is seeking a qualified technician to perform mechanical repairs at our dedicated Fed Ex location in Ft. Lauderdale.
We are looking for a diesel technician that is motivated and self starters to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light and heavy duty diesel trucks. Must also be able to perform maintenance and repairs on dry van trailers.
You must have 2 years of verifiable diesel truck repair experience including diagnostic.
Own your own tools that will be required to perform all functions of the repair.

Job Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience:
2 years verifiable experience in a truck maintenance facility.
License required CDL.
Technical Knowledge:
Troubleshooting -- Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
Equipment Maintenance -- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates effective organizational, reasoning, problem solving abilities and time management skills. Possess evidence of the ability to effectively communicate both orally and written with store personnel, administrative office personnel, and customers. Must be able to handle continuous stressful situations in effective manner.
