Vice President - Compliance

The Judson Group, a leader in the executive search market for banking and financial professionals, is currently working with a valued banking client in the North Dallas, Texas market.  Our client is a strong, stable, Texas-based financial institution with just under $1 billion in assets..  This bank currently has an exciting opportunity for a Vice President of Compliance.

As the Vice President of Compliance, you would be responsible establishing and maintaining a comprehensive compliance program which includes management of fraud, loss mitigation, risk and compliance.  Further, you will be charged with assisting in the preparation of various reports to communicate regulatory and legislative changes, proposed changes and their effects on the financial institution. 

Ideal candidate will have experience with:

-    Compliance, BSA, AML

-    Interfacing with regulators, executive management and internal business units

-    Reviewing and approving all marketing/advertising disclosures

Job Requirements

-   A four-year college degree or equivalent experience in a business-related field, 
    and a commensurate level of language, computer, math and reasoning skills is required.

-   Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience with equal responsibilities within 
    a bank or related financial services organization

-   Ability to write routine executive summary level reports and correspondence, 
    read and interpret policies / regulations, and a high level of familiarity with 
    industry regulations and requirements, including state regulations in Texas.

Compensation:
$65,000-80,000, dependent upon experience. This bank does provide top-level base compensation and industry-leading benefits. Further, this bank has a strong belief in promoting from within, so rapid career advancement is a strong possibility for the motivated candidate.


Location:
North Dallas, Texas - local candidate preferred, can commute.  No relocation offered.
