About the Project:
DTTP provides digital distance learning based classrooms to train soldiers, thereby increasing National Guard readiness, and promotes shared use to make classrooms available for use by the civilian community and allows War fighters and their families to communicate between home station and deployed unit locations. DTTP consists of 339 specially designed multimedia classrooms throughout the country, linked by a terrestrial network and emerging satellite technologies. The Army's force structure changes have placed a heavy burden on the National Guard to retrain soldiers from one military specialty to another. In the past, such retraining required transporting soldiers to distant classrooms - a costly and time-consuming process. Budget constraints and fiscal responsibility have made it financially unfeasible for the Guard to continue retraining soldiers in this manner. The DTTP gives significant opportunity to the Guard to maintain the required readiness, and offset the cost of the program. The advantages of the program to readiness include:
· Increases the number of soldiers that can be trained at the same time, lowering the cost of instructors and transportation
· Reduces the amount of time it might take to deliver requisite training to multiple large groups
· Broadens the scope of education, making more information available to more people at the same time
About the Position:
So join our team as the Video Systems Engineer to continue the connectivity of the multimedia classrooms. You will be the subject expert for troubleshooting and bridging video calls. You will provide room support interfacing with client. Also, will be the engineer designing a video solution for 54 classrooms.
Job Requirements
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor Degree or High School plus 7 years experience
Experience with Bridge room support
Experience with Tandberg endpoints
Experience pre-engineering designing of video networks
5+ years experience with video conference systems
Secret level clearance
