First Cash Financial Services is a leader in the  Pawn and Short-Term Consumer Loan/Check-Cashing industries. With over 500 stores in the U.S. and Mexico, we are looking to add a Visual Merchandising Manager to our team.

Visual Merchandising

This new position will develop and implement a visual merchandising program in order to maintain consistent visual standards in our stores. This position calls for flexibility, confidentiality, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors. This position requires a positive professional attitude and a strong knowledge of retail merchandising.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop the visual merchandising function and implement a structure to maintain consistent visual standards in our stores to drive profitable sales

• Develop and maintain store plan-o-grams and partner with operations to ensure their consistent application

• Design, sourc and implement consistent in-store messaging

• Provid training to store personnel on visual merchandising techniques and standards

• Coordinate efforts with store personnel and others for in-store events, promotions, new store openings, exhibits/booths at public venues.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 5 years related experience providing hands-on visual merchandising with proven record of results in a retail environment

• Hard goods experience preferred (as opposed to soft goods)

• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) communication strongly preferred

• A good balance of creativity and practicality

• Ability to travel within the US and Mexico

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Must have high level of discretion to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
