Warehouse Supervisor

Days/Hours: Mornings, weekends and holidays.
Location: Medley, FL

This position is responsible for directing the daily warehousing activities of the food distribution center including labor scheduling, supervision, and proper utilization of space, equipment and manpower. Key responsibilities include: Staffing, warehouse operation, maintenance of the facility and equipment, implementation of safety/security/housekeeping and AIB sanitation programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Assigns workers to specific duties, monitors performance; quality and quantities.
• Coach and train employees for improved efficiency and performance.
• Review daily activities and implement processes that will improve safety and quality.
• Develops workgroup for personal growth and bench strength.
• Reviews bills of lading/purchase orders for incoming merchandise and customer orders in order to plan work activities.
• Establishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of product, and keeping of warehouse inventory.
• Coordinates activities of distribution warehouse with activities of call center, customer service, and purchasing departments to ensure availability of product and services.
• Directs reclamation of damaged merchandise.
