Warehouse Worker


ANS Distributing, a petroleum dispensing equipment distribution company in Twinsburg, Ohio is in need of a Warehouse Worker who is punctual, motivated, and dedicated.

Summary: Under direct supervision, accurately ships customer orders and processes customer returns while maintaining warehouse inventory.

Essential Functions:
• Reviews customer orders generated by Customer Service and Sales staff
• Pulls all order items from warehouse bins and shelves
• Packs orders and reviews for accuracy prior to shipping
• Prepares shipping labels for orders
• Reviews customer return orders
• Ensures all returned items are present and restocks into proper bins and shelves
• Counts warehouse items for inventory as needed
• Maintains cleanliness of warehouse area and corrects and/or reports any unsafe conditions
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of shipping requirements
• Basic math skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack or other related equipment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively
• Ability to read and understand customer orders, ANS policies and procedures, shipping policies and procedures and federal, state and ANS safety requirements

Physical Demands:
• Frequently retrieves and transports objects that weigh a minimum of 50 pounds when preparing or restocking orders
• Frequently ascends and descends ladders when pulling or restocking orders
• Frequently bends, stoops, and crouches when pulling or restocking orders, adjusting settings on machinery or taking inventory counts
• Constantly moves about and positions him/herself in an elevated or lowered position while performing essential functions
• Frequently collects, handles, inspects, and transports product when preparing for shipping or restocking returns
• Regularly writes or enters product information while processing orders
• Constantly communicates with customer service staff, sales staff, warehouse staff and customers while processing orders
• Frequently inspects orders and detects and corrects errors

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
• Must posses high school diploma or GED
• Clean Driver’s Record
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License

Desired Qualifications:
• Six months experience in a warehouse environment
• Forklift certification
• Must posses and maintain valid driver’s license
