Job Description
Welders, Fitters & Helpers Shipyard Welders
Skills Required: Must be certified to run wire to the required specification and do it at production speed. $18 - $21 + DOE and certifications. Fitters
Skills Required: Must have the ability to layout damaged areas for removal, then crop out; after removal of damaged steel, cut shapes and plates to properly fit them into place using rigging gear, dogs and wedges and other means as required, then tack weld in position for welders to weld into place. $18 - $21 + DOE. Welder Helpers
Skills Required: Must have the ability to crop out areas of damaged steel as directed by supervisors and to assist the welders and fitters as needed, including using torches, rigging gear, dogs and wedges, etc. $12 - $17 + DOE. Seward Ship?s Drydock is an EOE.
