Job Description

Shift D: 7pm-7am Wed, Thurs, Fri and every other Saturday

• 4+ years working with Microsoft’s server and server related products in an e-commerce mission critical environment
• Experience with administrating Windows 2000/2003 Active directory and supporting components.
• Exchange Admin skills in a large enterprise environment
• 2+ years experience with implementing and administrating Microsoft SQL Server.
• 2+ years experience with implementing and administrating Microsoft IIS
• Experience with enterprise storage architectures: SAN, NAS.  Configuring windows systems to use SAN storage.  Knowledge of best practice usage of the various RAID levels.
• Experience administrating Business applications running on Windows servers.
• Experience with administrating Microsoft based file systems and permissions structures.

• Must have tier 1 server hardware experience (Compaq, Dell, IBM)

• Must be able to analyze client business requirements, procedures, and problems
• Ability to clearly articulate and translate technical details to non-technical people
• Ability to prepare technical reports and manuals. Must have experience preparing and presenting documentation to both Operations group and client.

• Must be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and minimal supervision

• Accurately prepare time and cost estimates for completing client projects
• Experience in remote computer management and control solutions
• Excellent people, process and communication skills

Additional Qualifications

• Previous consulting experience with Microsoft products and solutions
• Microsoft Certification (MCP, MCSE)
• Previous experience working in a SAN environment using Windows based servers
• Experience working with equipment such as Cisco firewalls, switches and routers.
• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Experience using system management utilities such as MS SMS or Bladelogic

• Script and/or coding experience, preferably VB or VBA.
• Experience using monitoring systems such as HP Open View.
