Job Description
Manages less complex projects including studies and conventional consulting work to engineering-only assignments or multi-faceted engineering assignments in accordance with Corporate and Energy policies and standards. Monitors and manages all aspects of cost related to projects including budgeting, invoicing, and payments in accordance with Division profit targets. Oversees project schedule to ensure deadlines are met; monitors productivity and schedule performance; resolves schedule issues or conflicts with client and takes actions necessary to meet project budget and schedule requirements. Develops and implements project performance goals; leads project performance reviews to ensure client satisfaction; conducts client satisfaction surveys. Leads proposal teams based on guidelines set by the Proposal Review Board (PRB); ensures proposals are competitive and accurate with regards to price, performance, and schedule; may participate in presentations.
Mentors, reviews, and evaluates project team members; advises management on corrective actions as necessary or recommendations for training or promotion of assigned professionals. Communicates and coordinates information related to project across business areas and Divisions as required. Identifies and assesses opportunities for improvement; supports change management associated with implementation of improvements; encourages, supports, and facilitates staff to engage in continuous improvement activities. ; Acts as a project manager. Among responsibilities is management of a project team. The individuals comprising this team may vary by project.
Job Requirements
3-4 years experience in management of technical or commercial aspects of projects; Bachelor’s Degree in a technical related field
