Experience.com specializes in providing students and young professionals (ages 20 - 29) with nontraditional career opportunities and advice. To highlight its services, the site recently sponsored an "Experience of a Lifetime" contest that connected college students and graduates with professional celebrities for "a day in the life" activities.
Camilla (University of New Orleans) won a chance to go behind the scenes with movie director John Landis; Jenna (University of Arizona) and Helen (New York University) will witness a CoverGirl photo shoot with Grey Advertising; Jonathan (Northwestern University) and David (University of Washington) will bounce ideas off of leading venture capital experts at Polaris Ventures in Waltham, Mass.; and Michelle (UCLA) and Danelle (Drake University) will learn magazine publishing secrets from Tim Forbes.
